Whistling Woods International (WWI), Mumbai is Asia’s premier Film, Communication and Creative Arts Institute. Founded by one of India’s leading filmmakers – Subhash Ghai, WWI is one of the largest and best media institutes in the country. ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ has rated Whistling Woods International as one of the Ten Best Film Schools in the world. The institute was also awarded Excellence in Creative & Performing Arts at the 6th FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards 2019. Admission to WWI Mumbai is done on the basis of the General Aptitude Test, Creative Ability Test, Personal Statement of Purpose and Personal Interview. Additionally, WWI has provided 90% placement to its students in the previous year. More than 2500 alumni are successfully working in the Media & Entertainment industry. The average package is recorded at INR 4 LPA and the highest package is recorded at IBR 8 LPA. Some of the top employers are Adfactors, Prime Focus, Byjus, Star Network, Lakeshore, etc.

How to Apply?

  • Fill up the form correctly and pay the fees of INR 3000 through the online payment gateway and download the acknowledgment slip.
  • After receiving the application fees, the college will inform the applicants to appear for the required entrance test, group discussion/ personal Interview.
  • Applicants must visit the college campus on the stipulated dates.

Whistling Woods International Placement

WWI Mumbai has a placement cell that provides various training to students for their on-campus recruitment. The cell bridges a gap between the media industry and students. The institute organizes various training sessions for students and also provides summer internships to them. The Placement Cell including the faculty members helps the students build their resumes and identify roles they could intern in and source internships for them based on their preferences and interests. The BBA and PGD students are encouraged to take up 6-8 weeks of industry internship in between their course during their summer break. The BBA students take up an internship between the second and third year and the PGD students take up an internship between their first and the second year.
