Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Chennai, popularly known as Vels University is a deemed-to-be university approved by UGC. The university also holds the approval of AICTE, PCI, BCI, DGS, GOI & MHRD. As per the NIRF Report 2023, Vels University’s Overall ranking is 101 out of 200 colleges in India. The university has been ranked fifth among the top 10 private engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu by the Times of India Engineering Survey and top among 50th South India’s Private Business Schools by Business World.
VISTAS offers a variety of programs at UG, PG & Doctoral Levels. Admissions to all the UG & PG programs at Vels University are done based on the VELS entrance examination (VEE). VISTAS also accepts IMU CET / GATE/ TANCET / CAT/ MAT/ XAT Scores for admission to its various programs. As per the latest NIRF Report 2024, the median package offered to a UG student stands at INR 3,13,000 and INR 3,76,000 for a three-year & four-year UG program respectively.
