St. Xavier’s College was established in the year 1944 by the Ranchi province and the college is affiliated to Ranchi University, Ranchi. St. Xavier’s is open for all the religions and caste of students. College provides financial assistance to the backward caste i.e. SC/ ST in the form of scholarship.

St. Xavier’s College Admissions

Admission for mostly under graduation and post-graduation are done on the basis of the merit list of the last qualifying exam. For some Voc. and other courses, the college conducts the entrance exam for the selection procedure.

How to Apply?

  • Students can apply online through the official website of the college.
  • After applying for the course, students are required to pay the application amount.
  • The amount for the application form i.e. INR. 700/-
  • Payment can be made through net banking, debit/credit card.
  • After that, the college will release the merit list on the basis of last qualifying exam and students will be called for the counseling round
  • For those students who are giving entrance exams, after the result of Entrance College will release the cut-off.

 

St. Xavier’s College Placements

The institute has a placement cell to conduct on-campus placements. The cell trains the students to perform well in interviews as well as jobs. The package starts from INR 3.5 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, ICICI prudential, TCS, Indigo flights, etc visit the college campus for the on-campus placement.
