The admission process at Shri Nehru Vidyalaya College is done through online mode. Admission to all the courses is merit-based. Interested and eligible candidates are required to submit their application form. The application form can be filled online by following the below – listed steps:
- Candidates can obtain the application form online or by visiting the college.
- Candidates must ensure the application form is duly filled while submitting it, along with the DD drawn in favor of Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts & Science, payable at Coimbatore.
- Candidates are required to pay the application fee of INR 50 while it is INR 100 by post.
- After the successful registration, download and print the form and submit it to the college.

The college has its own Training & Placement Cell which is run by a full – time placement officer. The officer is regularly in touch with coordinators from each department. Each year, more than 25 recruiters conduct both on & off campus drives and many students have been placed at various job profiles as per their interest.
The eminent recruiters of SNMV College include IBM, Amazon, HDFC Bank & HCL. SNMV has successfully placed 3249 students through its Training & Placement Cell with a decent package, out of 3974 students who participated in the drive. The median package offered at the college for the UG course was INR 1.4 LPA and the median package for the PG course was INR 2.4 LPA.
