About Us

Shaheed Sukhdev College is affiliated with Delhi University (DU) and offers higher education under the faculty of Management Studies and Computer Science department. The college offers UG courses under the streams of Management, Science and Computer Applications. SSCBS admission for UG courses will be done via Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG). The final selection will be done through DU CSAS process on the basis of CUET marks.

SSCBS is accredited by NAAC Grade ‘A’. This is a government college, established in 1987. All the teaching faculties are highly qualified and hold Doctoral degrees in their respective fields. They not only prepare students for their upcoming better future but also impart comprehensive knowledge required by the students in their respective fields.

The college offers multiple scholarship aids to the students who genuinely need it. The college has its own In-house Scholarship facility along with the aids which are given by Central Government and State Government. As per the reviews, SSCBS offers various other amenities for the students conveniences such as library, incubation centre, hostel, fully air conditioned college canteen, sports ground, etc.

The recruitment session is divided into two parts which are held in August-November and January-April. Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies Admission 2024

SSCBS admission to the UG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET UG examination. The admission process includes appearing for the CUET examination and then appearing in the CSAS seat allotment. Registrations for admission at SSCBS starts after the release of CUET UG results. Candidates must select Delhi University while filling out the CUET application can register themselves on the DU CSAS portal and choose [College + Course] preferences. The entire selection process is done via the DU CSAS portal for UG courses in multiple rounds. The admission process is as follows:

Step 1: Appear for the Entrance Examination

SRCC admissions for all courses at affiliated colleges, faculties, and departments are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. The table below lists the entrance exam accepted for various courses at Delhi University:

Step 2: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences

Candidates who qualify the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill college and course preferences.

Step 3: Seat Allocation

The seat allocation will be done in multiple rounds for all programs. Seats are allocated based on scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) or other national-level tests, combination of college and program chosen, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.

Step 4: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

Candidates can check their seat allotment results by logging into Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard. Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the admission fees.

Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies Scholarship

Pre Matric Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to the SC students who have scored more than 50% marks upto class 10 and annual income of the family should be less than 1 lakh per annum.
Post Matric Scholarship: This scholarship is mainly for SC students who have scored more than 50% marks and the annual family income should be less than 2 lakhs per annum.
Udaan Scholarship: This is awarded to the topper of the B.Sc.(H) Computer Science with family income less than 3 lakhs per annum.
Shri Sultan Chand Memorial Scholarship: This is awarded to the student who has secured the highest marks at the end of the second semester of the Bachelor of Management Studies course with family income of less than 5 lacs per annum.
Dr. S.S. Gulshan Scholarship: This award is for the two students of the BMS program and the students are selected based on academic results of their first two semesters.
Om Aggarwal scholarship: This scholarship is for the all-round student of the year from amongst the EWS students.

Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies Facilities

Library: The college has a library well equipped with a requisite collection of books. There is a reading room which has the seating capacity of 218 persons. A total number of 23,231 books are there in the stock. The library has the subscriptions of 60 national and international magazines & journals along with 14 national & business newspapers. There is a collection of 22000+ books and 1190+ bound volumes. There is an option for e-resources.

Incubation Centre: The incubation centre provides the students with entrepreneurship knowledge and how to lead the social and economic development of the community as well as the country. SSCBS has set up an incubation centre to work with SIIF and Yuva so that they can work with and can bring up the best professional upcoming entrepreneurs.

Hostel: SSCBS provides hostel facilities with the basic amenities which can be required by the students. The hostel has mess, common rooms, canteen, laundry services. The hostel fee is 1.28 lacs per year.
