NIT Jaipur was established in 1963 as a joint venture of the Government of Rajasthan and the Government of India. The college is fully funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Malaviya National Institute of Technology is ranked 37 by NIRF 2023 for BTech. Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT) is accredited by NBA and is AICTE-approved.

Regarding placement

The final placement report is yet to be released. So far, a total of 540 UG students have placed during the 2024 drive. The highest package stood at INR 64 LPA. The MNIT Jaipur average package and median package offered to UG students stood at INR 11.06 LPA and INR 8 LPA, respectively. Further, 186 PG students have been placed. The highest package and average package offered to PG students during MNIT Jaipur placement 2024 were INR 33.06 LPA and INR 10.28 LPA, respectively.

Earlier, 657 UG and 274 PG students were placed during MNIT Jaipur placements 2023. The overall placement rate for UG and PG courses stood at 81.51% and 66.10%, respectively. The MNIT Jaipur average package for UG and PG courses was INR 13.20 LPA and INR 10.45 LPA, respectively. Further, the highest package offered to UG and PG students during MNIT Jaipur placements 2023 was INR 64 LPA and INR 48 LPA, respectively.
