One of the best government medical facilities in Uttar Pradesh is the Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College (LLRMMC) in Meerut. This college was established in 1966 to address the state’s need for trained medical professionals and is named after the Indian freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai. The National Medical Commission (NMC) recognizes LLRMMC because of its affiliation with Meerut’s Chaudhary Charan Singh University.
