JK Lakshmipat University Scholarship

JKLU has a very distinctive scholarship program to encourage students. The University believes in equal opportunities for quality education and personal growth to all students, irrespective of the financial background. By offering various scholarship opportunities, JKLU aims to give students the opportunity to achieve their academic goals, pursue their interests, and make a meaningful contribution to society. Merit-based scholarships are awarded to students based on their academic performance in specified subjects of their 10+2 marks. The different scholarships offered to the students are listed below:

• Exceptional Performance in Extracurricular and Co-curricular Activities: If the applicant shows outstanding achievements in sports (for example, representing the country in a republican sport), in the Olympics (reaching the training camp) or in another field, a special committee evaluates the application and recommends additional scholarships to the eligible student.
• Women Scholarships: All women students will receive scholarship as 10% of the academic fee, if they are ineligible for any of the other mentioned scholarships.
• Special Category Scholarships: Candidates falling under the below mentioned category are eligible to get Special Category Scholarships 
  • Students from North-Eastern States (domicile based on the school’s address in the 12th class, and for open school, the address of the exam centre in the 12th class)
  • Students from all Union Territories (except Delhi), with domicile determined by the same rule as above.
  • Students from JKO schools
  • Wards of Defense Personnel
  • Differently abled students
  • SC/ST students
• Early Bird Scholarships: In addition to the above mentioned scholarship, an extra 15% scholarship will be granted to the students in the round one. Apart from this, an additional scholarship of 10% and 5% is given in the round 2 & 3 respectively.
