Scholarship Details
Students enrolled across various courses at IIT Delhi are offered several scholarship schemes and financial assistance to lessen their financial burden and to cover academic and other expenses during the entire program. The institute offers both external and internal scholarships to its students based on their qualifications and scores. However, a student needs to satisfy minimum eligibility criteria to avail the facility of scholarship awards and grants. Some of the popular scholarship schemes offered by IIT Delhi are as follows:
Merit Cum Means Scholarship:
- The MCM (Merit Cum Means) Scholarships are offered to the students in the Undergraduate Programs of Engineering & Technology or M. S c Programs.
- Only 25% of the students are sanctioned to get this scholarship as per the institute’s rules.
- Students of IIT Delhi whose annual family income or parent’s gross income is up to INR 4.5 lakhs.
- An award of INR 1000 is awarded per month to the students belonging to the GEN/OBC/EWS categories and the recipients are exempted from paying the tuition fee.
- The tuition fee is exempted to all the students of the SC/ ST/ PwD category.
