PSIT Kanpur was established in 2004 and has one sister institute which is PSIT College of Higher Education. PSIT Kanpur is a private institute affiliated with  DR. A. P.J Adul Kalam Technical University . PSIT College Kanpur is approved by the AICTE, UGC, PCI, and Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. The college is ranked 36 by The Times 2022 for BTech. PSIT College, through various departments, offers UG, PG, and diploma courses to students across the Management, Engineering, and several other streams. Scholarships are offered to SC/ST category students as per the government policy (SAMAJ KALYAN Department). Four UG courses are accredited by NBA.
