Lakshmibai College is a constituent college of Delhi University. The college has several departments, like Commerce, Economics, English, Hindi, Mathematics, Home Science, History, etc under which several UG and PG courses are offered. Few add-on courses like Certificate and Diploma courses are also offered by the college in several specialisations, such as, Foreign Languages, Machine Learning, Vedic Mathematics and Women & Legal Literacy, etc.
Established in 1965 and named after the fearless patriot Rani Lakshmibai, the college focuses on providing higher education to several women students. Lakshmibai College is managed by Govt. of Delhi and affiliated with the University of Delhi. It is an AICTE-approved and UGC-recognized college. Lakshmibai College admission to the UG and PG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET examination. The admission process includes appearing for the CUET examination and then appearing in the CSAS seat allotment. Registrations for admission at the college start after CUET result declarations. Candidates who qualify the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill college and course preferences.
