GSIMR is one of the Premier Business Schools in central India located in the heart of the city, of Vijaynagar, Indore. Shri Govindram Seksaria Technological Society first set SGSITS in the year 1956, It was founded to strengthen Engineering Education and later on, looking onto the needs of the hour, the society also set up an independent Management Institute known as Govindram Seksaria Institute of Management and Research in 1997. It was founded to strengthen Engineering Education. Later on, looking at the needs of the hour, the society also set up an independent Management Institute known as Govindram Seksaria Institute of Management and Research.

Class Room

The classrooms, seminar hall, and tutor rooms at GSIMR are fully furnished with state-of-the-art technology to be at par with the current standards. The Teaching-Learning pedagogy used in the classrooms is IT-enabled and all classrooms are equipped with a standard array of presentation equipment that provides our faculty with the best multimedia tools for their instructional needs. The lecture halls can accommodate up to 120 students, classrooms can accommodate 60 students while the tutorial classes are designed for a strength of 20-30 students. The Wi-Fi-enabled campus helps the students to access the internet facility from all around the campus.

Computer Lab

The primary goal of a well-equipped computer lab at GSIMR is to provide the students with the required IT skills and relevant assistance that enhances their possibilities of succeeding in their assignments and later ventures. The air-conditioned computer lab provides the students as well as the faculty with high bandwidth internet speed along with powerful backup 24*7, thereby, making them proficient in keeping themselves abreast of all the technological advancements that happen around the world. In addition to this, the college is WiFi Enabled, which helps the students work on their assignments from anywhere on the campus. The College has an advanced computer lab to provide hands-on training to the students.

 

Library

The institution has a well-equipped and spacious library. It has more than 12000 books and subscribes to about 12 newspapers, 30 magazines, and 50 Indian and Foreign periodicals spanning all management aspects. GSIMR has the reputation of being an educational institution with the most recent publications in diverse areas of management discipline. The library has an issue section that has books on diverse management subjects, while the reference section has relevant books from prominent authors, economic journals, and magazines that are apart from the subjects in the curriculum. GSIMR Library also has a large section of general books consisting of self-help books, autobiographies of business tycoons, and corporate leaders, and general management books. It also has E-Library facilities.

Auditorium 

The Institute has a modern auditorium with advanced AV facilities and a seating capacity of 250. It is a focal point for academic, co-curricular, and cultural events at Govindram Seksaria Institute of Management and Research. The auditorium has excellent acoustics and creates a welcoming atmosphere.

Sports

The Sports club was established with a vision to integrate sports and education to encourage young sports enthusiasts. We believe in nurturing them and supporting their ambitions by providing them with an innovative amalgamation of an educational curriculum along with professional sports mentorship. Competitions with local clubs and other institutions are frequently organized to encourage vibrant sports culture promoted by the Sports Club. The GSIMR team has participated in many local as well as inter-college and university tournaments. The club organizes various sporting activities like cricket, football, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, table tennis, chess, and many more such events.

Incubation Center

The institute is having Country’s first its kind incincubationnter for promoting green start-ups. The objective of the center is to promote sustainability through clean, green energy. The Incubation center has tied up with 10 investors across the country. Our team of experts will assist in the financing, investing, andmarketing off g the products generated by the start-ups.

MBA CORE (FULL TIME) DUAL SPECIALIZATION (Intake 120 seats)

The MBA program offers insight into Business Administration and Development. There are a lot of career opportunities in the fields of Finance, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, operations and business analytics, Management information systems, etc, these are rewarding too. This course is also helpful in creating start-ups or expanding our own family business. Students can also register for various certification courses while continuing their MBA.

Financial Management

Financial management revolves around growing revenue and creating ways to minimize costs, it is not surprising that the main objectives of a financial manager are based on that fundamental idea. The financial manager is responsible for putting plans in place to make sure the goals are met. This includes all phases of strategizing, planning, evaluating, and monitoring the company’s and individual finances. This specialization makes a student equipped not only in corporate finance but also learn about taxation, capital market, banking, and insurance so that he becomes employable in banking, corporate, and other fields of the financial services sector and starts his venture

Marketing Management

The focus of the marketing function is to help organizations create satisfied customers by creating, communicating, and delivering offerings that have value for them. To accomplish this, marketing managers must have analytical and communication skills combined with substantial knowledge of modern marketing practices. Even if a company has the greatest products or services in the world, it means little if prospective users do not know of their existence. Marketing professionals create strategies to get the word out and distinguish their company’s brand from those of the competitors. Human Resource Management

Human Resource Management is the strategic approach to the effective management of people in a company or organization such that they help their business gain a competitive advantage. It is designed to maximize employee performance in service of an employer’s strategic objectives. Some of the jobs that students with an MBA degree in HR Management can take include Compensation Manager, Manager of Employee Relations, HR Generalist, Technical Recruiter, Director of Staff, Placement Manager, Training and Relations Manager, Organisational Consultant, and more. Sound judgment, good listening skills, and tact are essential—as are influencing skills, the ability to link people’s strategies with business strategies, and the ability to prove the value that human capital adds to the organization’s bottom line.

Information Technology

Production and Operations Management

Operations management is the administration of business practices to create the highest level of efficiency possible within an organization. Operations management is chiefly concerned with planning, organizing, and supervising in the contexts of production, manufacturing, or the provision of services. Operation Management makes you skilled in process analysis, productivity, responsiveness, quality, and product variety, and thereafter, you can enter into any of these functions of the manufacturing firm, as a professional.

Business Analytics

Business analytics is the process of collating, sorting, processing, and studying business data and using statistical models and iterative methodologies to transform data into business insights. The goal of business analytics is to determine which datasets are useful and how they can be leveraged to solve problems and increase efficiency, productivity, and revenue. Business Analytics, professionals are trained in data analysis and taught how to use the insights to drive company profit and revenues. Business Analytics experts often report directly to upper management within their organization. They may be in a department of their own but coordinate closely with sales, marketing, and operations. Careers available in business analytics include (but are not limited to): Management Analyst/Consultant, Data Analyst/Scientist, Business Intelligence Analyst, Program and Marketing Manager, Big Data Analytics Specialist, Operations Research Analyst, and Market Research Analyst.
